Refund policy

At The Standard Squeeze we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds and our product guarantees work. It applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any other consumer law that applies to you, which we never seek to take away.

1. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not do what it should, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and to a refund for a major failure. These rights are not limited by the time frames or conditions in our change-of-mind policy below.

2. Change-of-mind returns (30 days)

If you simply change your mind, you have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return, provided the item is:

  • unused and in its original condition and packaging, and
  • accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at support@thestandardsqueeze.com. Please do not send anything back before your return has been approved. Once it is approved, we will send you instructions and the return address. Items sent back without first requesting a return cannot be accepted.

Return postage: for change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage, and we recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

Gift cards and sale or clearance items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or other consumer law that applies to you, if an item is faulty.

3. EU and UK cooling-off period (14 days)

If your order is shipped to the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving a justification. To exercise this right, contact us at support@thestandardsqueeze.com within that period. The item must be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. This right is in addition to, and does not limit, any other rights you have under applicable consumer law.

4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us straight away at support@thestandardsqueeze.com with a photo, so we can make it right.

For confirmed faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we cover return postage, and we will repair, replace or refund the item in line with the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer law that applies to you.

5. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at support@thestandardsqueeze.com.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your original item, and once the return is approved, place a new order for the replacement.

7. Our product guarantees

  • Lifetime structural guarantee: we guarantee the structure of all Standard Squeeze bottles for all general use, wear and tear.
  • 12-month lid seal guarantee: we guarantee all bottle lids against lid-seal issues for 12 months from the date of purchase. While it is an extremely rare occurrence, because our bottles are used repeatedly the inner seal can wear down through general use, cross-threading or over-tightening. If your bottle leaks or has any lid-seal issue within 12 months of purchase, we will replace it. After the 12-month period, replacement lids are available to purchase on our website.
